  11.      I have a MultiTech 2834zpx and have no problems with v.34 connections
  12. to BBS's, and usually get 24000 bps or higher.  However, when trying to 
  13. connect to my ISP, who uses MultiTech rack mounts, I need to force the 
  14. connection at 14.4 in order to connect.  If I try to use v.34 the two modems
  15. just keep handshaking until they disconnect.  I have tried a number of 
  16. configurations (changing compression, error correction, etc.), all to no 
  17. avail.  My ISP hasn't been able to offer any help in this matter.
  18. If anyone out there has any suggestions or solutions they would be 
  19. most appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
