- I have a MultiTech 2834zpx and have no problems with v.34 connections
- to BBS's, and usually get 24000 bps or higher. However, when trying to
- connect to my ISP, who uses MultiTech rack mounts, I need to force the
- connection at 14.4 in order to connect. If I try to use v.34 the two modems
- just keep handshaking until they disconnect. I have tried a number of
- configurations (changing compression, error correction, etc.), all to no
- avail. My ISP hasn't been able to offer any help in this matter.
- If anyone out there has any suggestions or solutions they would be
- most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
